Logistics:
Pick-Up and Drop-Off at Holt Education Center in Chestertown
Tuition: $400
Extended care: $60 in advance or $20/day per child. Extended care is from 3-4pm only, any time after 4:00 will incur additional cost.
Bay Discovery Camp is filled with exciting, hands-on activities that introduce young children to the natural world of the Chesapeake Bay. Using the Foundation’s Holt Education Center in Chestertown as a base camp, children participate in a variety of indoor and outdoor activities that are tied to the week’s theme. Participants spend time exploring meadows, marshes, wetlands, and even swim and paddle canoes on the Chester River. They also participate in arts and crafts, read Bay-themed stories, and work with live critters in the Holt Center’s aquariums.
