2020 Online Summer Programs
We are thrilled to announce that for the summer of 2020 we have developed a series of Online Summer Programs for younger children, including Virtual Toddler Time and Bay Discovery Online.. These programs are designed for children ages 3-7 and you can register for these programs now by clicking HERE.
Ages 5-7 / Mon-Fri / 9-9:45am & 4-4:45pm
Terrestrial: July 13-17 / Aquatic: July 20-24 / Terrestrial: Aug 4-8 / Aquatic: Aug 10-14
Online Discovery Camp is filled with exciting experiences that introduce children to the Chesapeake Bay. Before camp, participants receive an Discovery Box in the mail filled with craft supplies, suggestions for projects, a coloring book, and additional materials designed to encourage exploration. Participants will interact with SEF instructors for 30 minutes in the morning (9:00 AM-9:45 AM) and afternoon (4:00 PM - 4:45 PM) via Zoom to read stories, play games, sing songs, do crafts, and meet critters from the Holt Center's Wet Lab. Participation is limited to 15 children.

Virtual Toddler Time lets children explore the natural world through stories, songs, games, crafts, and other hands-on activities – all led by SEF’s talented and professional staff. Each session is one week long with online Zoom meetings held M, W, F from 10:30-11:00 AM. Prior to the start of camp participants will receive a materials package in the mail filled with crafts and activities to last the session. Participation is limited to 15 children.
Traditional Summer Programs (returning in 2021/ registration opens October 2020)
Sultana Education Foundation’s Summer Programs provide children and young adults with extraordinary opportunities to experience the Chesapeake Bay in ways only most can imagine. Led by the Foundation’s experienced professional staff, and featuring participant /instructor ratios as low as 2:1, all Summer Programs provide supportive environments that foster an appreciation and love of the outdoors while encouraging campers to make friends, learn new skills and develop confidence in their own abilities.
