Green Schools

As part of its mission, the Sultana Education Foundation (SEF) assists schools wishing to join the Maryland Green Schools Program (MDGS). The Green Schools Program recognizes schools for demonstrating environmental best practices, promoting environmental literacy, and supporting student action projects to improve the local environment. SEF can assist your school by organizing environmental-focused field trips, providing professional development programs for teachers, facilitating action projects, and providing technical support for the Green Schools application.
