Sept 5 | Farms to Water | 9:00am – 2:00pm This five-hour experience will explore the relationship between land and water on Maryland’s upper Eastern Shore. Launching from Turner’s Creek, participants will explore the Sassafras River and its flora, fauna, and agricultural history. Following the paddle, participants will caravan to Crow Wineries for a farm/winery tour, light lunch, and wine tasting (included in price).
Sept 6 | Business to Bay | 9:00am – 2:00pm Explore Worton Creek and the upper Chesapeake Bay with Sultana Education Foundation as we partner with Land’s Point Winery and Vineyard for a combined kayaking, culinary, and cultural experience! The day will start with a kayak paddle on Worton Creek where we will explore the nature of the creek and the businesses that have been drawn to the creek because of the nature there. After about a two hour paddle, we will head to one of those businesses for a light lunch (included in price) and a discussion with the owners of the vineyard, and then they will take us on a tour of their facilities.
