Deckhand Educator, Schooner SULTANA Julia is a recent graduate of Appalachian State University, and holds a degree in Biology and Environmental Science, a minor in Anthropology, and was a member of Beta Beta Beta Biology Honors Society. Deckhand Educator, Schooner SULTANA Paige is a graduate of Whitman College, and holds a degree in Environmental Humanities and Chemistry. During college, Paige worked as a Camp Division Director, where she designed outdoor programs and activities for children, and led the staff through orientation. Chief Mate, Schooner SULTANA A Salisbury University graduate with a degree in Biology, Kate returns to the schooner SULTANA team where her love of sailing, history, ecology, and education for all ages come together in an outdoor setting.  Her previous employment includes the YMCA Camp Orkila and Ferry Beach Ecology School in environmental education, as an Interpreter for Historic St. Mary’s, and Mate aboard the Skipjack DEE OF St. MARY’S in Solomons.
