During five-day residential programs aboard the schooner Sultana, participants are immersed in sailing, navigation, and ecology while traveling to various ports on the middle and upper Chesapeake Bay.  By day, campers learn and play onboard a traditional schooner, or go ashore to beachcomb, sample marine life with seine nets, fish with a hook and line, explore tidal marshes, swim, and relax.  In the evenings, campers sleep under the stars or below deck.  Ports visited by Sultana during these excursions include Chestertown, St. Michaels, and Annapolis
